Update on Hannah's American Education
20-Jul-2005
Hannah has now been in the US for almost two years now and is currently attending her sophomore year at Brigham Young University. Her plan is to graduate from BYU with her undergrad in finance and then work in the United States for a couple of years before returning to China.
When Hannah isn’t busy studying to get into the business school she spends her time hanging out with her roommates and friends. She recently had her first experience with camping when he and her friends paid a visit to Arches National Park. She says it was the best thing she’s done yet.
Hannah’s favorite American foods are Twice baked potato, sun chips, Chili, Salsa, Pizza, hot wings, Chinese food, sandwiches, burrito and fries.
Quote from Hannah on her career choice:
“I want to do personal financial planning after graduation. I've always wanted to do something that can help people. I thought about medical school, psychology and teacher. But both medical school and psychology take too long to graduate, and I can't see myself being that helpful with those degrees. After talking to my parents and counselor in BYU, and some researching, I found that finance is something can meet my goals and help me to make my dream come true. I will be able to help people with their extra money or give them ideas how to spend money wisely. And also a degree in finance will help me to have a good job and make some good money, then I can go back to China or just travel around the world to help the poor people to make money, and help them to live a better life. “
